Brief info
Born in Krakow, Poland, Elizabeth’s affair with painting and drawing began quite early, under the guidance of illustrator artist Ewa Mrozowska.
Educational courses referred Elizabeth to the great art tradition of the historical and artistic capital of Poland, Krakow, filled with architecture, theatres, and museums.
During the years of study, she got acquainted with many artists bringing colorful character, knowledge, and experience, that started the development and understanding of many concepts and ideas.
At the Fine Arts Academy in Krakow, Elizabeth received her Diploma in painting, with minor studies in artistic fabrics, and art teaching, under the supervision of renowned professors Stanisław Rodziński and Zbylut Grzywacz, both figurative artists, which increased her passion and belief in the value of realistic art.
For many years, Elizabeth has been working as an owner, art director, and graphic designer in her own publishing studio. She has made many illustrations, cover artworks, and design for books. Devoted to painting from her home studio. Her work is focused on nature, rendered mostly in oil, watercolor, and acrylic technique. Her art is on display in private studio-gallery in Hamilton Mountain.
Her paintings are in private collections in Europe and North America. Elizabeth was a long-time member of
the Association of Polish Visual Artists, the Semaphore Fellowship gallery Flagship, and was the Ontario Representative on the Board of Directors of the Society of Canadian Artists. Elizabeth is a member of the
Women's Art Association of Hamilton, the Society of Canadian Artists, and the Portage Group.
