Three blonde siblings

The reference photo for these portraits was taken just the way you see it, which is likely as natural a setting as one could find for three young fellows looking for some fun. Posing figures for portraits like this is most difficult, but in this case was very successful. For me there is probably a bit to much detail in the broken corner piece on the right, moving attention away from the three boys, but others might consider it very natural and ‘in place’. That is the difficulty in trying to please the people who commission such a piece, what should go where and how much attention should be lavished on it?
