The dog appears to be mourning his loss and I hoped all along that someone else would be taking care of him. “
It would in this case be interesting to see this piece in person. It has a slightly different look about it and I suspect that is because it was painted on a board rather than on canvas, an aspect that would give the paint and surface a rather pebbly appearance.
