A bit of whimsy for today. “Please tell me if there’s a cat behind me.” was an attempt to honour my brother who made the little mouse head on his lathe in South Africa. I dressed Miss Mouse up to go to a ball and it was night-time when mice usually come out to play.
I think Gaudi would have liked this piece of ceramic transformed into a ballgown. The cut out star is the iconic shape that makes everything twinkle, and the bits of glass confirm that feeling. I imagine these pieces hanging on a wall are great instigator of conversations.
