Unlike the other more acidic and bored group in their Lipton’s Soup portrait these folks are a more embraced arrangement who look like they have just won the lottery, an aspect of the commission that likely would encourage people to purchase more soup. Once again the supplied photograph seems to have been a little bottom heavy and left to herself in the arrangement I feel Joy in her creativeness would have made it into a more diversified arrangement rather than the horizontal casting that we see, however the skillful lighting ties the figures together with the row of echoing smiles. It was a family contest run by the company and Joy has certainly maintained that feeling of family camaraderie in this work.
