“This cat belongs to my niece, Ray, who lives in South Africa. Ray is one of those caring people who always responds to a need and, in this case, she mobilized a team of like-minded friends to help save, neuter and find homes for hundreds of feral cats in the rural community in which she lives. It’s a stressful but ultimately fulfilling task and I applaud her for the dedication she and her team-mates have shown for many years. However, I am hoping that Ray’s dedication to saving cats is not going to preclude a visit to see her Aunt Joy in Canada some time in the not-to-distant future.”
