The very definite incline of this portrait put it in a bracket by itself. The tilt of the figure implies motion and this chap, Wayne, was Joy’s dance instructor for tap, and a great friend he was apparently. I’m not sure that the background looks dance-like, however, the tilt and the grin guarantee that this portrait guy is a lot of fun.
